| If you all get a chance, would you please pray for Andrew? He's been pretty sick with a consistently high fever (100-102) for going on 4 days. The doctors there are telling him that he has food poisoning, but he doesn't think they are right. No one is really sure of the severity of it all right now... but just please pray to our Healer that He would restore Andrew's health. Thank you all so much! Much love. |

| Okay, okay. Sorry Britt and Carlton! I'm updating. :) What a fabulous and fast month this has been. I can't believe it's almost December. I am super pumped about the spring because I will be teaching 9th graders @ Graves Co. High school. Get ready for some Lord of the Flies! :)
I absolutely love teaching. I guess that's a good thing since that's what I'm in school for... but it really brings me so much joy to watch others grow. I guess that's why I love my Nook campers so much (hugs to you Rams, Bethany, ME, and the other gals not on here). I'm sure I'll have lots of updates in the Spring as I venture off into the "real world." But until then... my life is full of papers, meetings, reading, and soaking up the social life of college while I still can. RED N GREEN SKATING TONIGHT!!! Get excited--- we've got the largest skating rink in the U-S-A. :)
Love to all!
PS-- thanks to Jareldine for this AMAZING cd! |

| This is really random... but I am going to miss AOII! We're having elections coming up for the new offices, and I'm really sad. I'm really excited about graduating in the spring... but AOII is one thing that I do not want to leave behind!
In other news... I'm working on a paper now about Milton's 19th Sonnet: "When I consider..." Though it sounds really nerdy, I am really enjoying this sonnet a lot. Milton's sight was taken from him in the midst of his writing career... and he's just upfront and honest about how he's frustrated with the Lord for doing this because this is his gift that he has been giving to the Lord. But then he realizes at the end of the sonnet that we don't need these talents to serve God... all we need to do is wait on Him. Waiting on Him is worshiping Him. So many times I focus on the do do doing, and don't take time to be still before God and just wait on Him to "do" in my life.
Just thought I'd post since I've got reprimanded a few times for not doing so in awhile. :) I hope you all are doing well!! Thanks to my friends @ Union Baptist for inviting me to the amazing Bible Conference! I really enjoyed last night! |
